Briana Provancha of the US Sailing Team Sperry is an accomplished sailor from San Diego, CA and races in the Women’s 470 alongside teammate Annie Haeger. The two sailors first met on the podium at the 2007 ISAF Youth World Championship in Kingston, Ontario and later trained together as teammates at Boston College before joining the US Sailing Team Sperry. After a hard-fought battle on the seas this weekend in the Women’s 470 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Annie and Briana were selected to sail under the stars & stripes for Team USA at Rio in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
