As a child living in London, Karen would accompany her “mum” to street fairs and vintage markets. Her love of aesthetics and the thrill of a unique find stuck.
Upon moving to NYC, Karen began approaching strangers on the street asking where they scored their particularly cool clothing and accessories which led to the launch of her blog Where Did U Get That. Karen loves eating, people watching, and yes – surprising folks with her unique personal twist on getting dressed. “There’s nothing better than styling something in a different way and being asked ‘Wait, that’s from where?!’”
I like the contrast of different styles depending on where you live. In New York for instance you see a big difference between uptown and downtown styles - it’s like living in two completely different cities.
