I did not care for the styling of this shoe. - by , Jul 07, 2019

I have owned well over 20 pairs of Top Sider mocs and this pair in my size was styled very differently from every other pair I have owned. I am returning the shoe and will stick with the styles I prefer.

I truly wanted to keep this fantastic shoe! - by , Jun 18, 2019

I originally ordered the Brown/Tan Tri-Tone handcrafted boat shoe in a size 13 medium width and when I opened the box I could see that this shoe was definitely a work of art and very well made. When I tried the shoe on I quickly realized that the length was way too long which made the shoes feel too loose on my feet even when wearing them with a pair of medium weight wool socks. I returned the shoes to Sperry and ordered the same shoe in a size 12 medium. When I received the size 12 shoes I found that they fit much better in the width but the toes on my right foot were slightly pushing against the front of the shoe and this was while wearing a thin pair of dress socks. Due to the expense of these shoes I didn't want to take the chance of keeping them with the hope that they would stretch a little in the toe area so I reluctantly sent them back. I love Sperry boat shoes but have found that nearly every size 13 I have tried are too long and every size 12 are a little too short. My normal size leather dress shoe is a 13 in a narrow B or C width and it is difficult for me to buy a dress shoe with a medium width that fits. It would be great if Sperry would make a size 12 boat shoe and above in 1/2 size increments instead of stopping the half sizes at 11.5 but I'm guessing that the demand for them would not justify the manufacturing cost.
