Sperry introduced a new collaboration with Warm & Wonderful – the heritage British knitwear brand known for its iconic “Black Sheep” jumper famously worn by Princess Diana. The Sperry x Warm & Wonderful collection features Sperry Cloud CVO deck sneakers emblazoned with Warm & Wonderful’s iconic all-over “Black Sheep” pattern in four classic colorways: Diana Red, Original Green, Bowie Blue and Primrose Hill Pink. The campaign, shot entirely on film by photographer Sam Dameshek – “Los Angeles’s sharpest photographer”, according to Forbes – featured Riverdale actress Madelaine Petsch at a French-style villa in the Malibu hills. The location’s beautiful English gardens were the perfect setting to showcase the Warm & Wonderful collection. Petsch wore the new Sperry x Warm and Wonderful CVO sneakers, as well as Sperry’s classic white leather Crest Vibe sneaker in the photo shoot. Shop Sperry’s best-selling Crest Vibe sneaker here.
The Sperry Cloud CVO is the original canvas deck sneaker – like Warm & Wonderful, often imitated but never replicated – this style has been a footwear staple for nearly a century. Paul Sperry designed the CVO in 1935 and the shoe has been a favorite of style leaders and rebels for over 87 years. Warm & Wonderful’s black sheep pattern, made famous by Princess Diana, one such iconoclast, as she telegraphed her outsider image to the world, is the perfect update to a timeless shoe.
