Image-Maker, Storyteller, Lover of a Good Loafer

Dillon Burke could have jumped blindly into his family’s business —
his father is New York chef David Burke who runs eight top
restaurants nationwide — but took a chance on another career —
fashion — as his love for aesthetics went further than food.
Dillon has a cinematic quality to his personality — he’s irreverent and fun, yet driven and curious, and he’s a heck of a storyteller, which extends to his fascination with style.
Clothing is my hobby because of its unique definition to each person. We all have to wear clothing functionally, but it’s the little details and how we each do things that I find interesting.

INSPIRATION
For my grandpa, clothing was about function. Each pocket
was utilized as intended, T-shirts worn until tattered and
shoes until the laces broke. Even today, that outlook tends
to slap me as I catch myself changing my shirt three times
in the morning.

STYLE TIP
I'm a pretty short guy, so I probably go a bit slimmer with
my tailoring than most, but the aim is to elongate my
frame and create clear lines between torso and lower body.
LOOKBOOK
The Razorfish drew me in. An unconventional lacing system and interesting sole was really
appealing and created a different shoe silhouette.
STYLE TIP
I think the red boat shoes were just enough of a pop, and gave off that
red white and blue Americana vibe.

STYLE TIP
The espadrilles' contrasting colors and weight were super
easy to style and stroll. Kick off, kick on. That’s always been
a big draw to Sperry for me.
